I am pleased to say I have been awarded £250 funding by the HE Community Project at South Essex College! This is to help with resources, as I have been selling my artworks to raise money for my daughter's school, Chalkwell Hall Junior School, who have been making face shields for the NHS. I raised £315 and I hope to raise more. I will donate £100 of the funding straight to the school and use £150 for materials, in order to try and make more work to sell for the cause.
The project was set up to support students who are volunteering in their community during the Covid-19 crisis. They are encouraging any other students to apply for the funding.
